I think that's what BadNewsRef was saying about how you read the "or."

The thrower-in shall not: (Touch the playing court) or (touch the ball in the playing court before it has touched another player).

Rather than

The thrower-in shall not: (Touch the playing court or touch the ball in the playing court) before it has touched another player.

Better angle for what? Seeing the people in the stands? I know it is the current trend but it really just doesn't make any sense. The only thing it can do to your angle is reduce the amount of the court that is in your field of vision.

[QUOTE=bob jenkins;859545]A1’s throw-in hits an official who is on the court. After the ball hits the official, A1 enters the court and screens B2 such that A2 is the first to touch the ball.

Fed ruling?

NCAA ruling?

(assume that the screen is otherwise legal -- time and distance, not moving unless in the same path and direction, within the frame ...)[/QUOTE

legal. only a violation if a1 touches the ball first?
