What situations allow B to run the end line on the throw in?

Anybody remember when the offensive team violated on a free throw, that went in the basket, that was not to be followed by another free throw? The throw in would be administered on the sideline, free throw line extended, to show the scorekeeper that the free throw that went in the basket didn't count. Man, those were certainly the good ole days.

Yes.
That was back when there were real jump balls, the 28 foot line really meant something, and players had to raise a hand to indicate s/he committed the foul.
Neither peach baskets, Facebook, TV remotes, or microwave ovens either.

I'm at work, with no access to rule books, online, or other. Normally you can count on me to post citations from rule books, and casebooks, just not when I'm at work. I'm one of the few here on the Forum that realizes that not all Forum members have access to a rulebook, or casebook: coaches, players, fans, etc.

Thanks for your answers. I'm at work also and don't have a rule book today but just wandering is there a website where I can find the rule book in case I forget my book again ?
