It's infinitely better than the Oregon court because all lines on the court are still easily discernible. That Oregon court is a crime against humanity and Oregon and Nike and everyone involved should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Two Screen Names for Billy Mac

Hey BM...........

Have you ever considered two different names for this site ???

You could be Billy Mac when you posted about actual plays or rulings and then be someone else for your stand up act that we get to see on a daily basis....that way we would know what we are getting prior to reading your posts!!!!! Who knows maybe the stand up act could get a sponsor.....:

You could bring in 1,000 kids and have them all puke in unison on the court and it would look better the UO's court.

While I don't like the looks of the Oregon court, I can say, having worked on that floor, that the lines are not a problem. For some reason, they are not as clear on TV as they are in person. They were quite easily discernible to me when I was on the court....no more difficult than any other court.

Thumbs down

I may be alone here, but I think that court looks hideous. Oregon set the standard for ugly...so now it looks like other schools are going to try to play catch up. Seriously...it's a basketball court, not a fashion statement.

Maybe I'm cranky because it's been raining here for 24 hours courtesy of Isaac, but I don't like the trend of wild designs on the floor. I find them a distraction from the game.

Nothing as pretty as wooden planks and bright team colors for the lane covered with high gloss urethane IMHO. Throw in a couple logos and you're good to go...

Nike should get immunity for all the good things it's done for people.

Home of the Connecticut Sun. I like it, and not because I'm a fan. Dark, and light, stained hardwood to form rays of the Sun. Colorful center circle logo. Not too shabby.
