Poster Boy
Is David Stern trying to make LeBron James the new poster boy for the NBA?
What does the three time defending scoring champion have to do get a call at the end of the game? Stern should realize calls that benefit the superstars is a good reason TV ratings go down. Kevin Durant is one of the few things that is right with the NBA.

It was a missed called...nothing more, nothing less. If you want to impugn on the integrity of the official on the play (which you are doing), then take that crap somewhere else.

I did not realize that David Stern was on the court.
Secondly I do not agree that this was a foul. It did not jump out at me live and it certainly did not jump out at me in slow motion. No foul and if I called that foul I would be mad when I saw it on tape. Peace

To borrow a term from soccer officiating, I find that contact with the left arm to be trifling. I wouldn't mind a call here, but I wouldn't have a whistle.

Based on first time viewing, and then on the replay, I don't have a foul.
Different question, though, on Lead's position. He was very close to the sideline and may/may not have been straightlined on the play. Instead of staying where he was, would you follow the ball/close down once the ball handler begins to back down to the basket, or would you rather not be moving yourself in order to ensure a clean look? Mostly interested in high school interp since that's what I call, but would welcome any thoughts. |

I have no foul b/c KD got a clean release. But I didn't like Washington's positioning, felt he should have moved to keep an angle to see in between the players. I grimace every time I see myself on film and I don't move to keep good angles.
