When an official is just getting started officiating...you bet...but, I don't really think a veteran official is going to "get better" doing 6th grade ball....they may even pick up some bad habits if they are not careful.

Yeah, good point. I had a recent fan encounter following a summer league varsity girls game in mind when I wrote that.
Your option should have been added, especially for veterans who don't need to see more ball from behind a whistle.

That should be #1. At least that is the case here. You go to camps to get better honestly.

Not at $10-15 per game. Driving 50 miles (round trip) to work two or three games at that rate, I could make more cash at Burger King.
