He's put in a lot of time here. Perhaps he has other things he is focusing on.

Someone pointed me to this thread.

I am doing fine, thanks for asking, but currently choose not to visit this site. My decision has nothing to do with any moderator decisions -- I fully support those.

I did get the message about JR and add my condolences to his family (as I expressed privately at the time).

Hope you all have a successful summer.

Bob — if you have a chance email me and let me know why you've gone elsewhere ... would appreciate your feedback.

Just to clarify, Bob was doing a fantastic job of moderating, but it seemed to me that the job was too much for one person. I asked Bob to let me be the moderator by myself for a while so that I could get an idea of how big the spam and moderating problems were and address them — it's a lot easier to fix something once you have a better understanding of the problem.

I have a list of people who have volunteered to moderate and will be bringing some more people onboard soon.

Bob, as a young official I learned so much from your postings and not just the words in the rule book but even MORE important the reasoning behind them!
Remember 90% of the problems are caused by 10% of any group..don't let the 10% give you heartburn and chase you away!
