Where's Bob???
I know that Bob relinquished his moderator duties a while back for reasons I'm not aware of but it seems he's not been present on the board in any capacity for some time.
Anyone know if he is doing well? Perhaps lurking? Hope life is treating you well, Bob, wherever you are! |
I've seen him posting on another baseball umpire site so I guess he's doing OK.

I saw him at a meeting since he gave up the position, so at least a month ago he seemed fine. Maybe he just does not like this place anymore? Who knows?

He's put in a lot of time here. Perhaps he has other things he is focusing on.

I am doing fine, thanks for asking, but currently choose not to visit this site. My decision has nothing to do with any moderator decisions -- I fully support those. I did get the message about JR and add my condolences to his family (as I expressed privately at the time). Hope you all have a successful summer. |

I asked Bob to let me be the moderator by myself for a while so that I could get an idea of how big the spam and moderating problems were and address them — it's a lot easier to fix something once you have a better understanding of the problem. I have a list of people who have volunteered to moderate and will be bringing some more people onboard soon. |
