Dave Hall Camps
I'm looking at attending one of Dave Hall's camps this summer. I'm considering either the WAC or MWC camp. I'm curious as to what these camps are like. Is there instruction provided to help you get better or are they strictly a show camp to try to get hired? Thanks for your feedback!

I went to Dave Hall's camp last summer at CU Boulder.
It was a good camp with quality clinicians. I did not like that there was no video, but otherwise lots of good games, lots of good information. And I got some games for him in my H.S. Schedule. |

What you get from one of Dave's camp depends entirely on which one you attend. He has instructional camps geared towards HS officials, others for college officials and still others that are for conference staffs. He also conducts "tryout" camps for both men's and women's D1 staffs. I have also attended one of his camps that was a tryout camp with no instrution at all.
My experiences have been good. I have attended his camps in 3 different locations and have gotten my good value for what I have spent everytime. He brings in good evaluators/instructors.

Just FYI--they are overbooked for the WAC Camp for Kaye Garms at Colorado State and are trying to get people to move to a 2nd camp at the University of Colorado that starts a few days before the CSU camp.
