Here's a baseball rarity in the modern game. Zack Greinke of the Brewers became the first player since 1917 to be the starting pitcher for his team in three consecutive games.
He started on this past Saturday, but was quickly ejected after throwing only four pitches, so the team brought him back to the mound for Sunday. Then the All-Star break occurred from Monday through Thursday, so Greinke came out on Friday and started again.
