To me, there's a big difference between competing (be it The Voice, Biggest Loser, or Amazing Race) and following around whiny housewives or pregnant teenagers. Besides, outside of sports, I'm still a game show geek at heart.

Most of it is still garbage whatever the show. Of course if I want to get a cheap laugh I will watch it and if I am very bored, but I certainly do not sit and watch it as appointment TV. This is why I hate this time of the year, there is nothing to do for the most part while at home. I would rather be away from the house officiating something. Oh well, to each his own.
