Syracuse end of half

I forgot who tey were playing... Unc someone??? Anyway only heard it on the radio but it sounded like last second shot to end the half, the shot went, but after review the ball was still in his hand when the clock hit zero. However they said he was fouled on the attempt, and the foul occurs prior to the horn. They waived evrerything off. Is that correct?
