So Goes Maine, So Goes The Nation ...
It's a wicked front court end line throw in. It's hard to type in a New England accent.

![]() Ayuh... Anyway, I like Rich's idea for a rule change. Would we allow time to be put back on, too?

Unless Unsporting, Flagrant, Intentional, Or Technical ...
Good answer. I didn't want to confuse the rookies.

Regardless, I think the current interpretation handcuffs the officials too much -- mistakes happen and allowing the wrong team to complete a throw in shouldn't entitle that team to the ball. Since I'm not king, it really doesn't matter. I do know I've seen officials ignore the interpretation, though, stop play, and give the ball to the proper team. And I've *never* heard anyone complain. It may not be the right thing to do, but most people think it is. |
