Goaltending/basket interference????
A1 goes up for the shot and while the ball is on the way up B1 tries to block the shot and misses. B1 in the attempt to block the shot grabs the net and hangs on it for a brief moment while the ball is on the rim.

What do you have?

Thanks fellas, that is what I was thinking, but the net part confused me a bit. I took a look in the rules book after I posted (good idea huh) and confirmed it there. A T also went through my head, but I didn't think this situation warranted it. I always appreciate the help of the esteemed members.

I actually had GT on a 3-point try last night. Kid just jumped up and knocked the ball away just as it was about to hit the rim. I thought it was an easy call, but the coach didn't like it.

Did coach think it was still on an upward flight AT the rim?
