Can you clarify a bit? Did he want the jump ball call? Maybe the full sitch. Having a hard time visualizing how this play happened. Coach is still a dork though.

No. It was an obvious foul -- his player got all arms. He just thought it couldn't be a shooting foul because the ball wasn't released.

All I said in reply was, "She started her shooting motion and the foul kept her from releasing the ball" and he said, "Exactly! It's not a shooting foul!"

I had to walk away.
