Down goes Frazier...
No flag for clipping, either.
2012-01-21.m4v - YouTube Also, look at this. This sure looked like a travel in real-time, but watching it slowed down... 2012-01-21.m4v - YouTube And the first 4-point play I've seen this season: 2012-01-21.m4v - YouTube (I'd have pulled out shorter clips, but not quite sure how to do that, so I bookmarked some times.) |

I have been fooled by that "travel" a couple of times recently also. Find the pivot foot, find the pivot foot, find the pivot foot!!
And I had a 4 pt. play last Thursday! Very similar to yours. |

(I also think the left was the pivot.)

watching the feet on the catch is the only way to get better at the travel/non-travel play.....
his left foot was the pivot foot; no travel. it's GREAT that you're watching film.....it's the ONLY way to get better!!!!! |

I found another thing in the video. My counting of the 10-second count speeds up and slows down depending on how fast I'm moving. I was not aware of this and my counting, on average, was actually too fast, which is pretty hard to believe.
Worked a juco men's game tonight (101-94 final, BTW), and I counted "1-thousand-one" etc. as I swung my arm. A huge improvement, at least based on my perspective. When I get more film, I'll know how much better I'm doing. When you're ripe, you rot, and all that... |
