I'm not sure. I was doing a 9-10 boys rec game sat and the play happened and the kid was just standing there froze in his tracks after the defender had slapped the ball down. Eventually he passed it to a teammate, then as I was going up court, I heard his coach tell him he could have dribbled again. In my mind I actually wasn't sure, or even if I had ever remembered seeing it. Crazy what time will do to you sometimes
