THe way some coaches teach it, yes. And that's part of the reason we get those strange looks when we call the fouls.

Grrrr, called one of these just this week. Guy is "boxing out" and sends his opponent flying across the key, landing on his keyster. When I called the foul he starts gesturing wildly and says to me, "IT'S CALLED BOXING OUT!" He probably didn't even know what I meant when I replied, "no, it's called displacement."
