Yes, you could have handled it better. You could have put the crew back in the proper formation by simply going back across the court.

I pre-game this:

If a rotation is missed whichever of the 2 new Leads recognizes it drop back to the Center and the Trail can adjust (and hopefully the Trail is coming up the middle of the court seeing that he has 2 Leads). No need for yelling or gesturing. Recognize and adjust.
