The lead official administers the ball to the free thrower, who catches it , holds it then dribbles it off of her leg and it bounces down the lane. A) the free thrower just stands there feeling stupid or B) the free thrower steps into the lane and recovers the ball. What do you do - High school varsity, in this case, but whould you do the same in all cases?
