I'm not really old and don't really have blubber to hold in either.

I wear compression shorts and ankle length tights. I like the feeling that everything is in place and the warmth that the tights provide. Keeps muscles loose. Have done it since my mid-20s.

I'm there w/ ya long compression tights and I have found the short sleve compression shirts fromMc David or Under Armour work really well to keep your upper body warm and sweat free. Also helps keep your Jersey tucked in.

I have tried compression shorts, but I over-heat and absolutely do not like 'em.

Ah Hmm, being one of these old guys, I’ll be 55 in a few days, a good pair of tight compression shorts can help keep you from suffering leg problems. May be only a coincidence but my last game this year was Feb. 11. I forgot to pack a pair of shorts in my bag. Midway through the 3rd quarter I suffered what is commonly, but incorrectly, called a groin pull. Hopefully I be back on the court by the end of this month.
Youngster!! I'll be 60 in May and I'll take all the compression I can get.

We'll get our revenge by living even longer and keeping the next generation out of the top spot FOREVER *insert evil laugh here*

There is some literature that does indicate compression shorts can reduce (other than patella) injuries. Supposedly, the compression material holds the muscles in place while they relax. When the muscles contract again, they don't have to take up any slack. It also helps to keep the muscles warmer thus increasing blood flow. I mainly wear them for running but don't care for them on the court. Being mostly Irish, my kneecaps are safe from everything but my elbows.

I would say that there are some of us who need to make sure things are "properly secured" and/or "compressed" and it is not blubber. Hey if we don't we might break a kneecap!
Are you bragging? If so, where do you live?

Exclamation

Try wearing a wrestling uniform. Of course, you may need a little help adjusting it.

Great!
Have a good regional.
We set 4 record colds in the first 7 days of March.
Zip this morning.
"They" say 50 on Friday.
That oughta flood some basements.
