Coming to Portland?

Mark - I found out about the "No Pumping Your Own Gas" rule last summer while heading to Seattle. My wife and I pull into a gas station pass the Cal. Oregon border and an attendant is standing there to pump the gas.

We thought, "Wow, what great service", and tipped the kid for pumping the gas. Then our friend in Portland that we stopped to see told us about the 'No Pump Rule'.

Quite a hoot!
