Does anyone know if the same rule applies in the NBA? Because I seem to have seen a game where A1 brings up the ball and establishes in FC. B1 taps ball away and hits A1 in leg then rolls into backcourt. It was a no call.

Cool

I have had at least three varsity coaches in the last two years who don't understand this rule and have acted like "howlers" when B1 knocks it away, A1 touches, goes into backcourt and A2 retrieves it. This is one of those situations where knowing the NFHS rule number comes in handy!

Orange Bowl

I know this is probably more suited for the football board, but I don't know many of the posters over there and this topic already had SNL references built in . . .

I'd just like to congratulate the Orange Bowl officiating crew - Marty Culp as R and Bobbi Mohan-Culp as U. They've moved up from officiating Alta Dina MS games apparently, but still a real hot mike up here . . .
