I would be very cautious about making this call. MTD, Sr. can make a compelling argument about how the call is supported by rule, but IMO you would be treading on thin ice with this one. I think you are opening a can of worms you don't want open.

I can understand why a coach would yell box out with five seconds left versus doing it the whole game.....I have only called this violation once and it was on a player that was lined up in the lane....Giving someone an extra free throw from comments that were made 20-30 feet away is not how I would call my game.
