I heard from a reliable source that they're bringing back some of the original 13 rules from Dr. Naismith's time. Traveling or striking the ball with a fist is a foul and if a team is called for two consecutive fouls, the other team shall be awarded a goal. Oh yeah, teams will play two fifteen minutes halves with a five minute intermission. Although the original rules doesn't state it specifically, I think those are running time halves.

Sounds good to me.

I did some research on the NFHS website. The press release announcing the 2009-10 NFHS rule changes (End-of-game Replays Approved) came out on May 11, 2009.

Twenty-five days and counting.
