Apparently, the ND players attended Mass en Mass' yesterday!! Wow!!!
I'm the exception in that I have grown to like ole Geno. Having said that, I will not root for the Irish b/c of that 'interesting' blouse that Muffit had on yesterday. OR I really like the A and M coach, it is the first time I have seen them and I just love the way he handles his team.

Really?

When did they start having a wimin's tournament?

Is it me or is it weird that the key is designed with "phallic" tendencies?

I believe it was the year IX.

I thought it looked more like a thermometer!

I thought that it looked like the lane from Hoosiers.

I don't agree with court-coloring or markings which could be confusing to the players, especially in the Final Four. Poor choice by the NCAA on this imo.

you got a problem with HOOSIERS?? We can step outside!
Poor choice with the faux faded paint. Ugh

My point was that that shape for the lane went out decades ago, so why would the court designer think that it is a good idea to bring it back for these games now?

Probably works for Nike.

My prediction for the women's final is that both teams will definitely shoot better then 20% from the floor.

Not to be disparaging but there's quite a few empties throughout the arena, especially considering one of the schools is an instate school.

Which is a shame because this has been good basketball. It helps that I have a huge rooting interest (Skylar Diggins). :) But the play has been very good.

Officiating has been pretty spot on thus far IMO. And did I mention Skylar Diggins!

Looks like a full house to me.

Probably the same reason the Detroit Tigers infield has a dirt path from the mound to home plate.

Did anyone see the face/elbow contact in first half? Thoughts on the intentional foul call on that play? I thought the defender stuck her head into the path of the offensive players normal movement.

I know by rule, elbow to head contact warrants more than common foul, but this was a bit much to elevate call - I thought.
