Thumbs down

Last night varsity boys game my partner nearly fell over a camera man from the local newspaper while in lead position - 2 man. At the next dead ball, he told the guy to stay off the baseline and stay out of the way. Shortly after at halftime he followed us towards out room and asked why he couldn't be there. My partner tried to explain to him where he could and couldn't be in this small gym but he just couldn't seem to understand. We told him that that was all we had to say to him about it but he kept on. He asked to see the rule book for proof that he couldn't be there. Needless to say, the floor administrator was called in and walked him to his car. The guy may have been a headcase. But, for future reference, what rights does someone like this have and what should he have been told? Thanks, Ralph.
