What is the best way to remember where the throw-in will be on technical fouls, spot closest to the violation or division line opposite? If anyone has a system, I would appreciate it. I know the books tell us but in the heat of the battle, sometimes one might get it wrong. Thanks

I don't know what to tell you...this is one you need to memorize. If you need a memorization tip, maybe remember that after a T is called, it's a good idea to get away from the bench. Since a throw-in after a "T" is always at midcourt on the side of the floor opposite the bench, you'll never be next to the benches for a throw-in after a T.

For throw-in spots, the only thing you have to remember is whether it is a personal foul or a technical foul. Personal fouls (even if flagrant or intentional) will be inbounded at the closest spot. Technical (even if flagrant or intentional) will be at the division line (assuming NF).
