No problem.

Now, if I can just get people to see that it's a Q, not a G. :D

I started a thread on http://forum.priorities.com/in_or_out_of_whack so that I could get opinions on that topic as well.

So, it's not Snagglepuss?

Snagglepuss is a Hanna-Barbera cartoon character created in 1959, a pink anthropomorphic mountain lion voiced by Daws Butler. He is best known for his famous catchphrase, "Heavens to Murgatroyd!"

Sometimes you're the moth, sometimes you're the flame.

Celine Dion.

just another ref Mon Mar 21, 2011 01:37pm

Another point about perception, which may or may not apply here: It is common, at all levels, to have the appearance that the good team gets all the calls. What makes this team good helps them to get all the calls. The bigger, faster, more athletic, more talented team forces the smaller, slower, less athletic, less talented team to do things it doesn't want to do, some of which result in calls in favor of the good team.

For the record you are getting the same comments I gave you, I just was the first one to make them.

Also I have enough to do while running an association and trying to train officials throughout my state. And in my experience the only people that work your type of games are officials that do not know any better or those that want the money. Again, you get what you pay for and they do not like dealing with guys like you. This is really the case when a coach really thinks someone is trying to favor a team that is not going to "bread their butter" so to speak. Most officials could give a darn about your league to even want to favor someone.

Peace

Congrats on being the first to call me out. Maybe we can get the same trophy sent to our house?

I appreciate your response and will take it all into consideration.

Well congrats on being a dumb azz coach that comes here and wants someone to validate your silly conspiracies about officials. We cannot give you anything for that as you would be about the thousandth coach that does that here and tries to get sympathy. Now you got answers, not the ones you wanted, so that means you can go away as you have not contributed to any other thread or conversation on this site.

Hope it worked out for you.

Peace

I'm still disappointed, I had the under on how long it would take Rut to say he'll be officiating long after the new guy is done coaching.

I lost.

Don't worry, you will not be around for me to even care.

Guys like you are the reason kids do not want to play, let alone adults want to deal with you in any way.

Have a nice life.

Lost the game(for those that care). Kids came out too excited and let mistakes pile on each other and by the time we started playing, 5 minutes in, we were down 17 and just couldn't overcome the hole. It also didn't help that the other team seemed to be able to kick the ball and it would go in. They really shot well and with hands in their face so......

Refs were fine. I have no complaints. I had one exchange with one of them about a call but that was about it and it was rather tame.

I was proud that the kids took it graciously and had no ill will towards the other team.

The officials let the other team kick the ball into the basket? That doesn't seem fair at all. ;)

With the way the game was going..... they gained no unfair advantage so it was a no-call. :(
