I owe it all to you

What a great season I had. I really enjoyed my year and feel I did a good job. I've recieved a lot of good reviews and even got my first varsity game. I worked really hard and studied a lot. BUT I REALLY FEEL THAT YOU ALL MADE ME BETTER. I really do appreciate this site and many of you on here. I listened to and used a lot of advise and tips that you all gave me. Thank you so much. Good luck to all you guys fortunate enough to be doing college games and High School district games. I'll see you there in the near future!

You are seemingly doing what it takes to move up. Keep listening and working hard. Read these posts and you will learn a lot...You'll be working the state tournament before you know it.

These are essential elements which, complemented by using this board to consider further situations and mechanics, are working in your favor.
Now, find a camp or two to attend this summer and you'll feel even better about it all after next season!

I am sure you just took the advice that worked for you and applied it to your personal situation. I am glad you got something out of this site, but just understand you played a bigger role in that. You decided what worked and used it. Hope you continue to use the site and "pick up pennies" as they apply to you. Just do not want to give us all the credit and give those you work with and your own understanding of what officiating is to your success.

Glad you are enjoying the experience.

Peace

Camp is a must

+1 on the good camp to go to this summer.
I think you can gain a year's worth of experience by going to a camp after your first or second year of officiating.

Yep, I thought I knew how to officiate until I went to my first camp.

Not a place to have rabbit ears. Really small ears will work just fine.

Seconding the camp suggestion

I went to one last summer and it was a great experience. Now only 33% of coaches feel I'm wrong 50% of the time in 75% of their games.

Seriously, go to camp. It's the best investment you'll make this summer.

Great line but my percentages are more like 50 65 and 80.

Yes, camp is a great suggestion for the OP.
