Nor do they adhere to the restrictions on headbands.

"We will be adhering to Rules 3-5-3 and 3-6 regarding wristbands and headwear with the following exceptions. Anything worn in the hair (including headbands) must be soft and unadorned but may be any color or multi-colored and do not have to match for all teammates. Bobby pins and unadorned flat clips, no longer than two inches, will also be allowed. Wristbands may be any color or multi-colored and do not have to match for all teammates, but must be moisture-absorbing material. Lance Armstrong bracelets, rubber bands, etc., are still illegal as they are not moisture-absorbing."

What part of SPLITS don't you understand? It was a turn-over and my left heel caught a bobbie pin and down I went. Hurt like heck!

I have heard of states adding rules but haven't heard of them not following them. THat is news to me. In Pennsylvania we added the rule that you are not allowed to have a player inbound the ball infront of players. You have to move them to one side of the bench or the other. The reason is because a few years ago there was a fight in the state championship game that involved a incident when taking the ball out infront of the oppenents bench. This happened a few years ago but we still follow this rule.

In your inbounding case, could not a coach get upset if it is brought in at one particular end or the other of the opposing bench?
