Don't think this is covered

but nonetheless was a bit interesting: On a rare night off, caught a D3 mens game and with about 4 min to play and visitors holding a 7 point lead, V1 drives, makes, and is fouled. Official reports foul and PA announces guilty party. V1 is in possession of ball at ft line about to release, (sparse) home crowd unusually quiet I thought for situation, but right as V1 is cranking up his motion, PA guy comes back on blurting out "Correction, foul was on #so and so, his fourth!" V1 bricks ft...now THAT might be home court advantage.

and if this was HS, the coach would have jumped up to yell and complain about his FT missing because of the PA announcer and then continue to complain about that the rest of the game.....oh...wait...the visiting coach did that exact thing in my college game last night.....never mind!...

i guess they do that at every level of basketball....
