I miss being on the floor

OT--Congrats are in order!
My dad, who I roped into officiating basketball with me last season, just successfully defended his doctoral dissertation this morning at Northern Illinois University!!

He couldn't take any games this season because he's been working towards this final goal, but hopefully now that it's done he can get back into it. He also does baseball.

Congrats from me, too. Only the best and the brightest go to Northern. Oh - did I mention that's where I went to college?
