I didn't feel his comments warranted a reaction until the last "JV officials" bit. I issued the T and we moved on. This was my first T issued to a coach, and looking back I think it was the right call, but would like to hear thoughts from the forum.

Absolutely a no-brainer technical foul. Without a doubt.
