Couldn't Hear the Horn
4th quarter. Shot at the buzzer. Whistles blow as a foul is called on the defender. Shooting foul. Clock shows zero but neither official heard the horn. Shooting team needs the FTs to either win or go to OT.
Timekeeper not sure if horn went off either. Do you line 'em up for the free throws or do you have it cleared and assume there is no time left? Could there be less than .1 but more than zero? Would that last question and the fact that no one heard the horn lead you to have a normal FT lineup? This happened in a JV game this week. |
