2. Sounds about right....my guess is all the attention was on the 6 bodies legally in the lane fighting for position. It appears he crossed the line about when the ball was at its peak and just starting to come down....maybe 1/4 or 1/2 second before he should have.

3. Given that he controlled it OUTSIDE the 3-point line, after first detouring through the lane, I'd say that his path was far from optimal and could have easily reached that location directly without violating.
