Exclamation Future NBA draft choices?

I was talking with one of my daughters on the phone today. She lives about 35 miles from where I live. She has a neighbor who has a son who plays 4th grade rec ball in their area. She went to see her neighbor's son play their final game of the season this past Saturday. His team won their game 43-2. She found out his team went 12-0, never scored less than 25 points in any game and never allowed more than 11 in any game. They won a previous game 51-6. Mitigating factors - they shoot at 9 foot hoops and use the 28.5 ball - no backcourt guarding allowed in the entire game and no zone defense.

I've been around little kids rec for a long time and I don't think I've ever heard of anything like this before.

One thing to consider, while they're doing this as 4th graders, they're playing against 4th graders.

My school entered a team in the local jr high B league, it is made up completely of kids in gr 4-6. They have been pressed (some coaches are idiots), played against zones and ended the year with a bronze medal. (they played way over thier heads to do it, nobody expected them to show up pressing m2m)

They are so short they can't get an inside point to save their lives, but they are very well coached, run a great fast break and can actually shoot!! They also never turn the ball over.

I have become a little jaded over the years and watching jr ball has gotten really boring for me. These kids were the highlight of my year, hardly missed a game. I had so much fun cheering on these kids as they play way older opponents.
