I did a JV game earlier with a "seasoned" official who kept saying "blue" for the team in black jerseys. I wasn't quite sure what to say about that, so I said nothing.

Wreck Leagues.....

1) Reusable White/Blue pennies (sp). Easy stuff. Love it.

2) Different colored shirts for each team. Kids can keep them at the end of the yr. One team's is dark purple (yes, we call it blue) with black numbers. Horrible. You can't see their numbers unless you're within a few feet of them - HATE it! Told the league DON'T DO THIS AGAIN. ARGH!

3) Pennies with numbers only on one side - hate it! "Turn around please."

Nothing like asking a girl to turn around while you're staring at her chest to endear you to parents?

First time experience ever for me with that color. And I now feel good about it. I think I'll call it "orange" from now on, monosyllabic.
Wow, what a growing experience for me, eh?
Who says a leopard can't change his stripes?!

Same situation---the orange team had blue numbers, so we ended up calling them blue, and no one cared.....worked out nicely....
