Talking Good 'ol Rec Ball

Last night at a city rec game. A1 out of control, spins and attempts to put up a shot but instead gets the ball blocked by a player standing straight up with their hands up. As we start going the other way I hear this at halfcourt:

A1: CALL FREAKIN' SOMETHING!!!! (Loud enough for everyone in the gym to hear).

Me: Turned around, blew whitle and wacked him with a 'T'.

Appearantly he didn't like that call either as he left the gym for the rest of the night.

Good 'ol rec games.

The only thing missing was you replying, "Great idea - OK, I will" before you wacked him.

I miss them! I didn't get my registration in on time this year, so I haven't gotten a call, but that is where I learned how to give T's!!!

Sounds like one of my T's this season.

Small point guard drives the lane and crashes into a 6'4'-200+lb defender (standing there with his arms straight up), then falls to the floor. Defender isn't displaced so there's no PC foul. Guard gets up off the floor and screams at me "Call the d#$n foul....so I obliged him...

No, but his back court mate Emmit Bryant played in our local league, 15 maybe 20 now years ago? He was mid to late 40's, he'd start backing ya down at the 1/2 court line, stick a nice fall awy 30'r right in your eye. All you could do was return the favor and stick a "finger" in his.
