The only time I did something this retarted was in a wreck league some years ago.

Decent bump on rebounding action but instead of a foul ball goes out of bounds so just award it to the other team. Idiot A who kept arguing that it hit the other guy (because he fouled of course) was doing his best 6 month old impersonation. So I blow the whistle (probably like 4-5 seconds into play resuming)and say I messed up and that it wasnt an OOB but a foul on Idiot A. Didnt hear a peep from him the rest of the game.

**Kids I dont recommend you try this one at home (or ever for that matter)**

Any idea what prompted the officials to make this adjustment after this long?

The table crew brought it to their attention. http://www.smileyvault.com/albums/fo...stirthepot.gif

I did something like this once:

With time expiring at the end of the half, A1 drives the lane and makes contact with (but does not plow through) legally established B1. Contact causes an off-balance shot that misses as time expires.

A coach requests foul. I say no. A coach asks again. I explain that B was legal. A coach DEMANDS foul as he is walking off court. I oblige. Player control foul on A1 to end the half.

The only way this gets betters is if the shot was made and you got to wave it off.

What should have been the procedure had they called the initial violation on A1? Team B gets the ball at the division line and then which team gets the arrow?

Proper procedure??

A1 and B1 jump center. A1 ends up catching the jump ball. Nothing called. B1 coach is going crazy with the no call.

A1 scores a 2-point fg.

32 seconds into the game the official blows his whistle and stops the game. They take the points off the board and re-jump with the clock remaining at 7:28.

How should this have been handled assuming they did not call the violation. I think they should have let it go as is, but is this correctable?

The R or 1 of the Us should of whistled the play dead as soon as A1 caught the ball. Jump ball violation, award team B with the ball, AP to team A?

I prefer let the officials make the final decision on any calls on the floor. I'll only offer assistance if asked.

Sounds like a slow whistle..........never mind.

Not the R, it's the U's call. If U doesn't get it, R can come in and get it.

But you have the admin correct.
