How many "T's" this year?

Don't know the total count but I have had 3 for taunting behavior. Didn't have to call any last season for taunting.

3. Two players and one varsity boys head coach. Was on the floor for 2 more (called by partners) -- one on a chin-up on a dunk and one on a boys varsity head coach.

More than I saw all last year. Still no big deal. When they happen, they happen.

I don't understand when people set a "goal" for how many T's they want to call. That's like setting a goal for how many travels you want to call during the year.

Me either. They happen when they happen. Afterwards, I do try to figure out if I could've handled the situation better. Many times I wish I would've found the technical in my bag o'fouls earlier.

Three Coaches (Two Stop signs ).

I think about 5 players.

This is about the highest number at this time of the year I can remember. And I hardly count the players, because a couple of these were no-brainers as one player ran onto the court during play. And I gave a double T on Saturday that was on a TV game that was obvious as well.

None, but I have no goals. I've had partners call one admin (book change) and one player T (threw the ball away from the ref at a TO and refused to retrieve it when given the opportunity) this year.

Exactly!

Technical fouls are never a criteria as to how well an official controls a game or how good they are at game management. The circumstances that relate to each individual technical foul do that.

Four to head coaches - 2 middle school games, one 9 year old rec game and one freshman game

Three to players - two for spiking the ball and one for profanely informing my partner and I that he disagreed with our call selection.

Three so far. 2 were in my second game of the season on 2 players for getting up after a battle for the ball. THey got in each other faces and pushed each other slightly. THen I had one the other day. Partner had a foul. and the kid was walking away from him and said rather loudly that he highly disagreed with the call. (or more like that was F-ing Bullpoop) Either way he got banged. All in all everyone has been good this year. I did have a thats enough on a college coach last night. He told me he thought one of my partners had a vendetta against him.
