If you loved the "Run n' Refs" or the "All-Stars" you should love these shoes. And they do keep a great shine all the time. I have bearly touched them, and the only part that I have touched are the inside where most shoes get scuffed a bit. You can get some polish or protectant to clean them. But you will hardly ever have to use it. I love them. I will be getting another pair this year.

No one can tell that they are patented leather either. I wish I had a dollar for every time I was asked, "What did you shine your shoes with?"
