Our assignor notified us that a fellow official died in a car accident on her way to a game tonight.

A sobering reminder that you are never guaranteed any time on this earth.

God bless her, her family, friends and your association.

Details are sketchy, but she apparently strayed across the center line and was hit by a semi.

We just lost one as well. On Wed. the 2nd one of our officials. while waiting at the bus stop to catch a bus to his games, suffered a massive MI and passed away. I'm shocked - was talking to him the night before at the game site where we were workng simultaneous games in different gyms and he seemed just fine.

That is very sad.

By the grace of God that has not happen to many of us. May our prayers with her family and her officiating family.

Peace
