A severe loss of the US, for Israel, and for the world.

As word spread in Israel about the tragedy, people reacted with shock and sadness. Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath, is generally a quiet day in Israel but i think we all remember this day for ever.

It is a tragic day

As the official NASA picture of the seven-person crew aired on TV, tears welled in my eyes. I realized that these were people who came from many families that would not be "welcoming home" their loved ones, but rather holding memorial services.

I looked at picture and saw the diversity of the crew, an interesting mixture of people, all belonging to the human race. The race of earth, an Isreali, another born in India, yet another born only a few miles from where I live, et al.

As time passes, we will eventually be able to embrace their accomplishments, but for now, we mourn. Yes, we all mourn in the loss of their lives.

My parents heard the boom this morning from the many pieces breaking the sound berier near my house this morning. I slept threw it. We didn't realize what it was until I turned on the radio on my way to work. We are all saddened by what happened. For me this time the debre did land close to home. Nacadoches, where a lot of debre fell, is about 60 miles to the south of me.
