Team A has possession under pressure. A1 makes a cross-court pass to A2. A2 has 1 foot out of bounds. While the ball is in the air, A2 (still having 1 foot out of bounds) calls for timeout.
My partner did not grant the timeout, because A2 had a foot out of bounds. We discussed after the game, and neither of us were sure if this was the correct call. Any comments?
