Small World Dept--Orlando vs Boston

NBA.com - Magic Name Assistant Coaches

Clifford’s first coaching experience came at Woodland High School in Maine, where he coached for two seasons.

This fellow [Steve] dated my sister-in-law [Karen] while in HS. He is an AC with Orlando. The HS mentioned in the article is my alma mater. The fellow [John] who married my sister-in-law played for a HS in Maine and all 3 went to UMaine-Farmington. In Maine, the highlight of the winter is the tournament. The Eastern Maine tournament is held in Bangor. I went to see our HS rivals, the 18-0 Calais Blue Devils, play in one session while a student at UMaine in Orono. The first game featured the HS of my brother-in-law. Did not remember much about the game other than there was a kid with red hair and a crew cut. That would be my brother-in-law. I met him at our wedding & it turns out that his birthday is the same as mine. Truth is stranger than fiction sometimes.

I lost track of all the "in-laws" in the story. Can you please give everyone a name, like Sally, Harry, Steve so I can keep up?

um, ok.

To quote:

Mr. 26 year gap, "what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

Borrowed from Adam Sandler movie "Billy Madison"
