Attention, someone, camp info

Someone PM'd me and I lost the message in cyberspace, but here's the info you asked for.

StripeZone - Oregon City Official's Camp-2009

that's the best camp in this area for high school refs.

also on the Stripe Zone there are some other camps listed, that you could look at.

Thanks Juulie. I left a VM on you profile and I believe it is still there. Have you attended this camp, if so how was your experience. I have a ways to go so I'm looking for all the details I can get. Thanks again. AKOFL

It is a very, very good camp. Yes I've attended it several times. The instructors are of the highest quality. and the director of the camp is able to schedule to receive the kind of work you want. If you just want to get better, and aren't interested in being picked up, they do that. If you need to be seen, there are often assignors there. Rockyroad is an instructor and has worked all the way up to national D3, I think, and if you look back at his various posts, you'll see that he's top notch in skills, judgment, and attitude. Other instructors work D1 and D2 and have a wide range of experience so they can help anyone progress. I highly recommend it.

Isn't he a Mariner's fan? Unfortunately that speaks to judgement as well.

As far as his attitude, I've heard some things...

Oh, wait, you were talking about basketball? Then, yea, he's ok.

Sweet! I am a Seahawks fan, and a Mariner watcher. The Oregon City camp is a great learning camp. The guys who run it have the ear of the lady who assigns the games for UAA and UAF, so that would be in your "neighborhood".

And M&M...one of these days. Pow!! Straight to the moon!

Is the West Coast camp still being run this summer since the boss is no longer the boss at least of the WCC?
Any word on who will be the successor?

AFAIK the camp is still on and still being called the West Coast Camp. That's about all I know on that front. Rumors is all I have heard about the WCC position, so I don't really know anything yet.
