Where are you located?
I can direct you better if I know where you want to work and what level you currently officiate as well as whether you're looking to do men's side or women's side.

cboa.net has a listing of camps in California. Also, there are 2 camps at Chico State this month that are good camps especially if you want to be seen by DII and JC assignors

SOCALref

Hey socalref got a kid interested in starting to ref. He is going to attend CalState LA/Glendale community college in fall. I gave him the San Gabriel Assoc. info. Would this be the nearest Assoc for him ? I believe he is planning on living in that area.

That would be the fit geographically. However, the level of play and instruction leaves a lot to be desired. The best unit around for instruction to get better quickly is Foothill-Citrus just a few miles east. Here is the info he would need for that unit:
Rocky Bettar (Secretary)
(H) 909/226-1457
(W) 626/965-5975
[email protected]
I fhe just wants the extra money for college, San Gabriel would do.

Do you currently work HS? The HS camp for NV is at UNLV this weekend.

July 21-25 is the Big Time Tourney in Vegas. You can do games with one of the major camps (Coast to Coast, SEC, Big East, etc.) or you can get games from the local HS assignor.
