 WHO did you have the rumble seat for later? Or, were they after your time?

Ok, I don't get it. Why are we laughing at Deidra? Is she a spammer that I haven't noticed before? She only has two posts, both in this thread, and they seem to struggle with the English language. We're not laughing at her for trying to write in a second language, are we? Or am I missing something obvious?

Struggle? I have no problems understanding her. If I tried to use my high school French to post on this Forum, those who understand French would have no idea what I was saying, and neither would I. I'm envious of those who speak a second language. I wonder where Deidra is from?

Note: I hope that the title of my post says well done Deidra. If it doesn't, and I've ended up calling her some profanity-laced name, I apologize.

I've had trouble with Deidra's posts myself, but choose to pass on them.

I mean, I went to a public school and my english is not so goodly.....right mbyron? ;)

Personally, I'm here to learn and have some fun and don't care what others do/say/write....for the most part.

For me - "People who live in grass houses shouldn't stow throwns!"

Not to beat a dead horse, but lots of usernames are "fake". That in itself doesn't seem like a reason to laugh at the poster. Is the choice of name funny for some reason? I still don't understand why we're laughing at this poster.

Hey...just to clarify for me.

I had a partner try to tell me that there was no offensive kicking the ball. I said...um...yeah there is.

I had A1 fumble the ball and use his foot to reach for the ball and draw it back between his feet so he could pick it up. I called a kicking violation and went the other way. Coach was fine with the explanation as he tried to say the same thing, but I explained that it was all about intent. He used his foot to corral the ball and that's a violation. Partner then tried to sell me on the no offensive kicked ball thing.

Was I right?
