Kudos to zebraman

I had the pleasure of working with one of our esteemed members of this very forum....zebraman...at the boys 4A State Tourney in Tacoma, WA this year.

This guy is a first class individual, one who stays in great shape, knows the rules/mechanics of basketball and just plain makes it fun to officiate with.

Kevin, or better known here as zebraman, was rated in the top half of the 12 officials at the tourney...and made a semi-final game.

There were a lot of egos, personalities, opinions, etc....mine included...and Kevin just had a way of staying level and being very professional.

Great job Kevin! It was a pleasure meeting you.

RookieDude

Kevin, zebraman, I've been missing you around here, but I guess you've put your time and energy to good use!

... and you even got a good review from RookieDude, now THAT'S some good reffing!

Congratulations, Kevin!

Thanks Rookiedude (and others who posted),

I can say the same things back to Rookiedude as well. He did a very nice job of officiating in the tournament and is an even better person. I thoroughly enjoyed my time hanging around the T-Dome with him and the one game that we got to officiate together. A class act.

I completely agree, but how else can you deal with Padgett?

Tell him you think there may be OT. He won't be anywhere near.

No, before the threesome would go into OT, I'd call an illegal use of hands.

Actually...you know the first guy, my new found buddy, zebraman mentioned from this forum...and said he wouldn't mind meeting?

It was you, JRut, so watch out!

Even though there seem to be a whole bunch of interesting people on this forum...I said I would like to meet ol' JurrasicReferee...for some odd reason.

Anyway...Padgett...don't get your hopes up...zebraman is married to a beautiful woman who is also a fitness/body builder professional.
