Dave Libbey pt 2

Remember the blogger in Seattle that hates Dave Libbey because Dave apparently doesn't favor his hometown team? I found a website that tracks all these different stats about officials and of note the average points for the home team when Dave is on the game = 74.3 and the visitors = 69.5.

So even if big call Dave makes a call, the home team usually wins. So there, mr. blogger.

The correlation between points and who is working the games is kind of silly if you ask me. I have never understood why people attribute this to officials. If a team plays a high tempo game, it is not the officials that decide what they make or not make. This is just one more reason why you should not read what bloggers think or care about because they write something.

Peace

Agreed. The correlation between points and a lot of thing is often misleading.
At age 10, my son tied for MVP in our rec league. The tiebreaker was points scored. He lost. We had video of two games between our team and the MVP's team. My son was 5 for 16 from the field. The other kid was 6 for 40.

You're exactly right, Jeff, and I think that was icf's point, too. The troll that came on here and kvetched about Libbey was a dork.
